Customer Analytics Manager (12 Month FTC)
London (Hybrid, 3 days per week) Up to £70,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Analytics Manager to join a well-established consumer business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the chance to lead the customer analytics agenda, shape strategic decision-making, and deliver insights that directly influence customer retention, loyalty, profitability, and growth. You'll work with senior stakeholders across the business and play a key role in driving a customer-centric culture through data.

Data and analytics are central to their decision-making, with a mature analytics function that supports commercial, customer, marketing, and operational strategy.
The wider analytics team brings together specialists across customer analytics, data science, marketing analytics, and AI. Over recent years, they have invested heavily in improving how customer data is used across the business, creating a strong environment for analytics professionals to make a genuine commercial impact.

The Role
You will:
- Own the customer analytics agenda, delivering insight across customer behaviour, retention, loyalty, profitability, and lifetime value.
- Lead customer reporting, KPI tracking, and deep-dive analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop meaningful customer segmentation and profiling strategies to support business decision-making.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques including clustering, regression analysis, predictive modelling, and campaign measurement.
- Translate complex findings into clear, commercially focused recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across multiple business functions, acting as a trusted analytics partner.
- Support the ongoing development of customer understanding and help drive data-led decision-making across the organisation.
- Contribute to analytical best practice and mentor junior team members where required.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large customer datasets.
- Expertise in customer analytics, customer insight, or CRM analytics.
- Experience delivering customer segmentation, clustering, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis.
- Strong data visualisation and reporting experience using modern BI tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-technical audiences.
- Exposure to analytical techniques such as k-means clustering, regression modelling, random forest, or similar methods.
- Experience leading projects and managing multiple priorities in a commercial environment.
- Previous mentoring or line management experience would be beneficial.
