Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site Customer Assistant role based at Nathan Superstore in Bromley. The Customer Assistant will serve customers at the tills, answer queries, and provide helpful, friendly support throughout the store. Daily tasks include:

The role also involves:

The Customer Assistant is expected to:
- Follow store procedures
- Uphold health and safety standards
- Contribute to a positive experience for every customer
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist customers, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Effective communication skills, including clear spoken English and the ability to work well with customers and colleagues.
- Basic stock control and merchandising skills, including shelf replenishment, stock rotation, and maintaining product displays.
- Sales awareness and training capability, with the ability to promote offers, support add-on sales, and learn store procedures quickly.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and performing light manual handling tasks.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
