Are you commercially driven, confident building customer relationships and ready to take ownership of a key grocery account? We have an exciting internal opportunity for a Customer Business Manager to lead our grocery business with TJ Morris, Home Bargains. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic channel, you’ll have the autonomy to shape plans, spot new opportunities and deliver sustainable growth for Premier Foods.

This is a highly visible role where you can make a real impact, working with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain and Finance to turn commercial opportunities into results.

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking full ownership of the account P&L and delivering against budget.
  • Driving sustainable growth through strong joint business plans and excellent execution.
  • Building trusted relationships with the customer and key internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiating and delivering annual account, range and promotional plans.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, closing distribution gaps and supporting successful product launches.
  • Leading internal and external performance reviews, with a clear focus on opportunities, risks and actions.
  • Improving the accuracy of monthly sales forecasts by working closely with Supply Chain, Finance and factory forecasting teams.
  • Representing the Discounters channel across Premier Foods and working cross-functionally to deliver channel-specific initiatives.
  • Partnering with Marketing and Category teams to develop compelling, fact-based customer opportunities.
  • Managing pricing, promotions, claims and account queries effectively.

What we need from you

  • Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to manage budgets and financial performance.
  • Experience of account management, customer business management or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong negotiation and fact-based selling skills.
  • The ability to build positive, mutually beneficial relationships internally and externally.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence across different functions and levels.
  • Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to turn insight into clear action.
  • Creative and critical thinking, with sound commercial judgement.
  • A collaborative approach and the agility to succeed in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience within the high-street discount channel would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
