Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Aberdeen
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive plus bonus & benefits
Are you an experienced Customer Service Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career?
We are delighted to be supporting a respected business within the housing industry as they look to appoint a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join their team in Aberdeen. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality customer experience following the handover of new homes and has arisen due to continued investment in their aftercare service.
The Role:
As Customer Service Coordinator, you will support the delivery of an efficient and professional aftercare service by managing a busy caseload, coordinating remedial works and acting as a central link between customers, contractors, and internal teams. You will ensure issues are progressed and resolved within agreed timescales while maintaining accurate records and providing a consistently positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, responding to calls and enquiries throughout their warranty period.
- Carry out welcome calls to new homeowners, providing clear guidance on aftercare processes.
- Coordinate remedial works by liaising with purchasers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage customer cases end-to-end, monitoring progress and ensuring items are closed off efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records within the customer CRM system.
- Escalate complaints or complex queries in line with company procedures.
- Maintain cost control, including processing invoices and contra-charge notifications.
- Source specialist contractors when required and coordinate their attendance.
- Circulate customer service questionnaires, collating and recording responses.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the wider team.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure effective resolution of customer issues.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong coordination, administrative, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high workload.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
- A flexible approach to daily tasks and changing priorities.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based systems.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English.
- An understanding of the housebuilding or construction process (desirable).
