About The Role

We are seeking a friendly, approachable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Host. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and an enjoyable dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to anticipate customer needs, provide excellent service, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and safety within the restaurant. This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the company's values and standards. You will work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and a positive environment for both customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-working skills
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as a welcoming host to all customers
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide prompt, efficient service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
  • Follow company guidelines and training protocols
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, security, and health & safety procedures
  • Take pride in personal appearance by following uniform guidelines
  • Assist in training new team members and develop personal skills
  • Support team efforts to uphold the company's values
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment
