Customer Care and Sales Support Assistant
Evolve is partnering with a well-established and growing pharmaceutical organisation in the ophthalmic industry. The organisation is committed to supporting eye care professionals and supplying high-quality products across the UK and Ireland.
They are seeking a Customer Care and Sales Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time maternity cover contract ending December 2027. The role is based four days per week in the office, with one day working from home, and the organisation is also open to candidates based in Dublin.
This varied role combines customer service, sales administration and operational support across the UK and Ireland. It’s an ideal opportunity for an organised, proactive and customer-focused professional who enjoys building strong relationships, resolving customer queries and providing reliable support within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Ideal Requirements for the Customer Care & Sales Support Assistant
- Customer Service & Communication: Proven experience handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently by phone and email, providing a helpful and approachable service.
- Order Processing & Data Accuracy: Strong experience processing orders, maintaining accurate records, and working confidently with data while demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
- Organisation & Prioritisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Excellent team player who communicates effectively, supports colleagues when needed, and works confidently with geographically dispersed teams and other offices.

Role Responsibilities for the Customer Care & Sales Support Assistant
- Be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering a friendly, professional and responsive service across phone, email and online channels.
- Take ownership of customer orders and enquiries, ensuring orders are processed accurately, records are maintained and any issues are resolved promptly or escalated when needed.
- Play a key role in supporting our UK and Ireland Sales Teams, providing day-to-day administrative support and coordinating samples, literature, stock and internal orders to keep things running smoothly.
- Use data to support the wider business, maintaining accurate records, preparing Excel reports and assisting with routine administrative and financial activities.
- Work collaboratively across the business, partnering with Customer Care, Sales, Operations and other teams to manage priorities, support busy periods and help deliver an efficient, seamless service.
