Key Details

Your Impact in This Role

As a Customer Care Consultant at RIB, you will play a key role in helping construction professionals get the most value from their software solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, you will support customers using RIB construction software, including RIB Candy, a leading platform for cost estimation, quantity surveying, project control, and tender management.

Working as part of a global Customer Care team, you will help customers resolve technical and functional challenges, optimize their workflows, and improve productivity across their estimating and commercial processes. Through your expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer-focused approach, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, Construction Technology, or Software Support. Ready for your next level?

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Consultant, you will provide technical and functional support to customers using RIB Candy and other RIB software products.

Customer Support & Incident Management

  • Assist users with workflow support related to Cost Estimation, Quantity Surveying, Tendering, Project Cost Management, Construction Commercial Processes
  • Respond to customer support enquiries via phone, email, and support platforms in a professional and timely manner
  • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve software-related issues and customer incidents; escalate complex technical or customer satisfaction issues when required
  • Track customer cases through to resolution while maintaining clear and proactive communication
  • Collaborate with product, development, and support teams to resolve customer challenges efficiently

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Document software issues, resolutions, and product improvements
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles and help centre content
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience
  • Share knowledge and best practices across the global Customer Care organization

Your Profile

  • Experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, Construction Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline (preferably RIB Candy experience)
  • A natural curiosity and investigative mindset, with the ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions
  • A strong customer-centric approach, combining active listening, empathy, and patience to understand customer needs and provide high-quality support and guidance
  • The ability to remain composed and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and challenging situations with professionalism
  • Strong analytical capabilities, enabling you to interpret data, assess processes, identify trends, and transform insights into meaningful recommendations and reporting
  • A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, positively influencing outcomes and driving resolution without relying on formal authority
  • The ability to remain composed and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and challenging situations with professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (minimum Level C1)

  • Previous experience supporting software users, customers, or internal stakeholders
