Role Overview
We're on the lookout for a Customer Comms and Marketing Specialist to join our team. We’re looking for a highly talented communications expert to play a crucial role in our busy team, working with colleagues across the business to cover all elements of customer comms and marketing activity.
This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team needs, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Help us deliver communications and marketing activity that informs, engages and supports our customers, whilst aligning messaging to Thirteen’s strategy, brand, and values.
- Be a key player in supporting our business priorities by enhancing Thirteen’s image and reputation and telling our story through the delivery of high-quality communications that deliver our key messages.

About You
- You’ll have a proven track record of delivering impactful communications that drive engagement and build trust, from developing customer campaigns and sharing compelling customer stories, to managing sponsorships, promoting inclusive communication, and strengthening relationships with customers and communities.
- You’ll be comfortable working across a broad range of channels and audiences.
- You’ll also have experience producing publications such as magazines and customer reports, alongside managing media relations and supporting crisis communications with confidence and professionalism.
- You’ll have experience in raising the profile of a powerful brand through strategic and targeted communications of the highest quality.
- You’ll have a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across the region.
