About The Company
When Anita Roddick founded The Body Shop in 1976, she had a vision. Business as a force for good – and that’s us. Over 40 years later, we’re proudly pioneering cruelty-free beauty with integrity, earning us the title of the original ethical beauty brand.
Our mission goes beyond products—we empower people and enrich our planet. We keep it real in every way, from our iconic activist roots to our passionate, unwavering advocacy. Campaigns, campaigns everywhere: we’re the brand unafraid to speak truth to power. Here at The Body Shop, we don’t follow the rules—we break them.
The Role in a Nutshell
You’ll:
- Support the store management team in driving sales and profits through exceptional customer service on the shop floor.
- Uphold our values and company vision while ensuring strict adherence to policies and procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
