Financial Services / Customer Contract Test Analyst (Onshore)

📍 Location: Farnborough (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite at Office)

📅 Contract: Long-Term Contract

💰 Rate: Up to £330 per day

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Services Test Analyst to join a high-profile customer contract programme within a leading automotive financial services environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in functional testing, UAT, CRM platforms, and financial services applications who enjoys working closely with business and technology teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in validating customer contract processes, CRM functionality, data integrity, and marketing campaign activities across several business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in business requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution design discussions to gain a detailed understanding of business processes and system functionality.
  • Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Execute end-to-end functional testing across customer contract and financial services applications.
  • Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders.
  • Validate customer, contract, financial and marketing data across multiple integrated systems.
  • Identify, document, track and manage defects through to resolution using JIRA and Xray.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Perform regression, integration and system testing activities where required.
  • Support outbound marketing campaign testing and ensure successful deployment of campaign-related functionality.
  • Produce test evidence, defect reports and testing status updates for project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all testing activities are delivered in line with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, standards and documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst within Financial Services, Banking, Automotive Finance, Insurance or Consumer Finance environments.
  • Strong experience creating and executing detailed functional test cases.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience testing CRM platforms and customer management systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles (SDLC/STLC).
  • Practical experience using JIRA for defect management and workflow tracking.
  • Strong experience using Xray for test management, test execution and reporting.
  • Experience validating data accuracy, completeness and integrity across multiple systems.
  • Ability to analyse requirements and identify gaps, risks and potential issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within Automotive Financial Services environments.
  • Exposure to Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or similar CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of customer finance products, vehicle finance agreements or contract management systems.
  • Experience with API, integration or data testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Understanding of SQL and database validation techniques.
