About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Development Manager to join our Grocery Sales team. This associate will be at the heart of driving growth with some of our biggest customers and will lead a range of internal and external responsibilities as a core part of the cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop relationships with both Customers and our cross-functional team
- Solution focused customer partner – working directly with customers to offer advanced solutions around product, placement, promotion, and pricing
- Trusted partner to your customers providing strong category leadership, and sales expertise
- Experience in management of budget as well as trade revenue optimization delivering against budget and ROI
- Strong financial acumen and comfort reviewing a P&L

Responsibilities
- Alongside the Senior CDM, creating a partnership with our customers to deliver profitable sales and category growth across the Pet Nutrition portfolio of brands
- Effectively managing and balancing our P&L, and seamlessly communicating to relevant stakeholders
- Creating exemplary customer plans that deliver impact and value
- Developing strong customer relationships at Head Office level where you’ll be able to influence in adoption of solutions (including sales revenue, customer profitability, category growth, category leadership and new product launches)
- Being a trusted insights partner with the customer, providing accurate and timely forecasting and trade revenue optimisation
