About the team
Bringing medicine to patients is complex, expensive and high-risk. Faculty’s Life Science’s team is concentrated on building AI solutions which optimise the research and commercialisation of life-changing therapies.
We partner with major pharma firms, academic research centres and MedTech start-ups to design and deliver solutions which address critical healthcare challenges, and help to democratize health for all.
About the role
As a Customer Director, you’ll play an influential role in growing our most impactful accounts.
You will act as a strategic partner to our Life Sciences clients, helping them supercharge their operations and end-user engagement through AI-powered decision-making. Leading a high-performing team of delivery and engagement specialists, you’ll oversee complex commercial negotiations, ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge Applied AI solutions, and build key relationships which position Faculty as the global leader in AI-driven transformation.

What you'll be doing
- Driving revenue growth; identifying strategic opportunities to expand current accounts and onboarding new clients within your sector
- Developing and implementing robust strategic account plans that align Faculty’s AI solutions with client business objectives
- Leading commercial negotiations and partnering with the Business Unit Director on accurate sales planning and forecasting
- Building trusted relationships with senior budget holders and C-suite stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Managing and mentoring cross-functional commercial teams
- Representing Faculty at industry events and networking forums to build a reputation as a thought leader in AI-driven transformation
- Collaborating with technical teams to translate complex data concepts into innovative use cases that solve real-world client problems
Who we're looking for
- You’ve managed senior, complex stakeholder relationships in the Life Sciences industry - some experience in consulting preferred
- You have experience leading large-scale AI/digital transformation projects
- You possess a strong business development mindset with experience in sales methodologies and the end-to-end management of deal processes
- You are a practical problem solver with the forensic skills to scope a problem, identify client needs and implement effective solutions
- You are a compelling communicator - comfortable collaborating with technical experts and translating data-oriented concepts for non-technical audiences.
- You bring experience in team mentorship and coaching
- You have demonstrated capability to balance multiple strategic projects simultaneously, while maintaining a focus on quality and commercial impact
