Role Description

The Customer Engagement Executive is a full-time role based in Bridgwater. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales performance across inbound and outbound customer interactions. Working within a fast-paced contact centre environment, the role includes managing enquiries, converting sales opportunities, supporting customers throughout their storage journey, and ensuring first-class customer experience at every touch point.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and online, and guiding them through storage options that meet their requirements. You will support customers throughout their storage journey, including handling bookings, completing paperwork, and explaining security and access procedures.

The role involves managing existing customer accounts, monitoring satisfaction, addressing issues promptly, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant services. You will collaborate with the site team to ensure a smooth, welcoming customer experience, maintain accurate records, and contribute feedback to improve customer engagement processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Engagement and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Experience in Account Management, including maintaining customer records and managing ongoing service needs.
  • Sales and Consulting skills to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate storage solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.
  • Comfort with basic computer systems and customer management tools; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of or interest in storage, logistics, or facilities services is an advantage.
