Are you passionate about digital marketing and looking for an opportunity to accelerate your career? At Unum UK, we're looking for a Customer Engagement Executive to join our ambitious Growth Marketing team and help deliver innovative, data-driven B2B campaigns that drive engagement, generate opportunities, and support business growth.
Whether you're a recent graduate with a placement year or have gained 1-2 years of marketing experience, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in marketing automation, customer engagement, and campaign communications, while working alongside experienced marketing professionals.
You'll play a key role in creating personalised, digital-first experiences for brokers and customers, using data and insights to improve engagement across multiple channels. If you're curious, creative, commercially minded, and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Help design, build and optimise automated customer journeys and nurture campaigns that engage brokers and customers at every stage of their journey.
- Support the delivery of targeted digital campaigns across email, social media and other channels, contributing to our Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy.
- Analyse campaign performance, identify insights and recommend improvements to increase engagement, conversion and marketing effectiveness.
- Test new ideas, technologies and approaches to help us continuously improve how we engage our audiences.
- Work with our Digital Marketing team to ensure content remains fresh, relevant and delivers an excellent online experience.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic about marketing, enjoys working with data, and is excited to build a career in customer engagement and digital marketing.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Marketing, Business or a related subject, ideally including a placement year, or 1-2 years' experience in a marketing, CRM, customer engagement or campaign role.
- An understanding of customer journeys, segmentation and personalisation through either academic study or practical experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exposure to marketing technology such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar CRM and automation platforms.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) and an interest in using data to inform decisions.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to experiment, learn new skills and contribute fresh ideas.
- The ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
