Customer Events Officer

Derby/Bristol/London

Full time

Why join Rolls-Royce?

At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting, and connecting people everywhere.

By joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Events Officer to join our Events team.

The Events Officer plays a key role in the delivery of high-quality events across Rolls-Royce. Working as part of a global Events team in Group Communications, Marketing & Events, the Officer supports the end-to-end execution of external and internal events — helping to bring Rolls-Royce's corporate narrative to life and ensuring every event lands with impact, on time and on budget.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences. It offers the opportunity to work across business divisions, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and develop a broad understanding of strategic communications in a complex, global organisation.

What you will be doing:

  • Support Event Planning and Delivery
    • Provide hands-on coordination support across the full lifecycle of events — from logistics planning and venue management to supplier liaison and on-site delivery.
    • Assist in the management of event budgets, tracking expenditure and raising purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Maintain and update the central events calendar, supporting the team to prioritise and plan effectively across a busy portfolio.
    • Coordinate with internal teams & stakeholders — to ensure all event requirements are met.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
