About the Opportunity and Business
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful global organisation that manufactures and sources a vast range of technical products and components for customers across the UK and international markets. Working from one of their UK Sales & Service Centres, you will play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a structured, process-driven environment and thrives on accuracy, customer interaction, and problem-solving. The products are highly technical, often involving detailed specifications and complex part numbers, making strong attention to detail and the ability to concentrate essential for success.
The organisation is known for its inclusive culture, structured training programmes, ongoing personal development, and opportunities to progress into other departments and functions over time.
The Role
As part of a collaborative customer service team, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, quotations, and enquiries while ensuring all processes and quality standards are followed accurately.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
