Customer Experience Advisor

Head Office Based | Staveley, Chesterfield

Put Customers First, Build Real Relationships, Represent Our Brand

AvantiGas is looking for a customer-focused Customer Experience Advisor to join our team in Staveley, providing an inbound and outbound Customer Experience function across both our B2B and B2C customer segments.

We are looking for someone who can build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders alike, stay calm and professional under pressure, and take pride in resolving queries thoroughly and to a high standard.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Act as a first point of contact to customers, answering the phone for the customer service line.
  • Resolve customer queries using internal processes and to a satisfactory standard.
  • Support the management of the customer service inbox.
  • Return calls to customers when required, and redirect calls to third-party providers when necessary.
  • Provide professional, thorough, and accurate support to internal departments in relation to customer queries.
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of AvantiGas and the LPG industry.
  • Update the customer database with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Escalate complex queries to managers or other relevant teams.

What We Are Looking For

Functional:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • A proven ability to succeed in high-volume environments.
  • A grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office packages.

Personal:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to develop rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Confident managing conflict and challenging situations.
  • A team-focused approach to work.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Confidence working under pressure.
