This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career with Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics. As a Customer Experience Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You'll be supported by experienced colleagues and mentors who will help you develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for a successful career in customer experience, supply chain, and logistics. Working in a diverse and fast-paced environment, you'll gain exposure to international business operations, build professional relationships, and learn how to deliver outstanding customer service.

What We Are Looking For

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about customer service, and looking to start or build a long-term career in logistics and supply chain management.

As a Customer Experience Apprentice, you will learn how to manage the end-to-end customer journey, proactively identify and resolve issues, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that benefit both Maersk and our customers.

You will combine practical, on-the-job experience with structured learning through your apprenticeship programme, developing valuable skills that will support your future career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established processes and procedures to manage customer expectations and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Support the Customer Experience team in delivering high levels of productivity, accuracy, and service in line with agreed service standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional teamwork and projects.
  • Learn how to manage end-to-end shipment processes in compliance with company procedures.
  • Ensure services are delivered as promised and communicate proactively with customers regarding any changes or exceptions.
  • Take ownership of customer queries and support their effective resolution by working with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support eCommerce initiatives and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Develop knowledge of logistics, customer service, and supply chain operations through both practical experience and apprenticeship learning.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Level 4 (Grade C or equivalent) or above in both English and Maths.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in customer service, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Well organised and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • A strong team player who collaborates well with others.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Comfortable using technology and willing to learn new systems and processes.
