Are you passionate about developing people, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and building a high-performing team from the ground up?

We're looking for a Customer Experience Manager to join our brand-new contact centre operation in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and shaping a new team, leading a group of Customer Experience Specialists and helping create a positive, customer-focused culture from day one.

You'll be joining a growing operation with ambitious plans for expansion, where people come first. Working closely with colleagues, leadership teams and agency partners, you'll help develop, motivate and support your team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes while fostering a collaborative and engaging working environment.

This role is currently office-based in our Newcastle Centre of Excellence office, to support the launch of the new operation, onboarding and face-to-face training. As the site grows and matures, there may be opportunities for hybrid working in the future.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of Customer Experience Specialists to deliver excellent customer service outcomes.
  • Creating an engaging team culture through regular team meetings, one-to-ones, coaching and wellbeing support.
  • Managing team performance against service levels, quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Supporting colleagues through feedback, coaching and development conversations to help them succeed.
  • Overseeing people management activities, including absence management, HR processes and performance discussions.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and recruitment agency partners to support the growth of the operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
