Customer Experience Manager

Location: Holliday Street, Birmingham

Salary: £50,000.00 per annum plus car allowance

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Closing Date: Thursday 3 September 2026

Interview Date: Tuesday 8 September 2026 (in person, Birmingham)

About The Role

Lead the customer experience agenda in an organisation that changes lives.

At Trident Group, we do much more than provide homes. We support thousands of people across housing, support and care services, helping customers live independently and thrive within their communities.

We're on an exciting improvement journey. Following significant investment in our housing services, customer engagement approach and operational transformation, we're looking for an ambitious and experienced Customer Experience Manager to help shape the future of our services and ensure every customer voice influences how we deliver, improve and grow.

This is a newly enhanced role with real strategic influence and visibility across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Housing, you will lead our customer engagement, complaints, customer insight and Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) functions while championing organisational learning and continuous improvement.

Most importantly, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our ambition of strengthening our customer experience framework and supporting our journey towards a strong C1 regulatory position.

Why This Role Matters

The social housing sector is changing. Customer expectations are increasing, regulatory scrutiny is stronger than ever, and landlords must demonstrate that residents genuinely influence decision making.

At Trident, we see this as an opportunity.

We are seeking someone who can help us move beyond compliance and create a culture where:

  • Customer feedback drives service improvement.
  • Complaints become catalysts for learning and change.
  • Residents influence decisions that affect their homes and communities.
  • Data and insight are translated into measurable actions.
  • Regulatory assurance is embedded in everyday practice.
  • Every colleague understands their role in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
