About The Role

As a Customer Experience (CX) Specialist at Socket.dev, you will serve as a vital ambassador for our brand, responsible for delivering outstanding support and guidance to our diverse customer base. Your primary role will involve assisting users with their accounting and bookkeeping queries, ensuring they receive accurate and timely solutions. You will interact with customers across multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat, demonstrating empathy and active listening to foster positive relationships. Success in this role is measured by your ability to meet quality and productivity targets while consistently providing a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer service or support environment, demonstrating the ability to meet service levels and quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Comfort and confidence in making proactive and reactive outbound calls to engage with customers.
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative, flexibility, and adaptability to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge to improve overall performance.
  • Experience with case management systems such as Salesforce is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to customers via multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely and effective resolution of inquiries.
  • Assist customers with accounting and bookkeeping questions related to our products, offering guidance and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Actively listen to customer concerns, demonstrate empathy, and communicate clearly to build trust and satisfaction.
  • Record detailed case information accurately in the case management system, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
  • Manage customer inquiries from initial contact through to resolution, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Engage proactively with customers by making outbound calls to maximize their understanding and utilization of our products.
  • Stay informed about product updates, training, and best practices to provide accurate and up-to-date support.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights, improve processes, and contribute to a positive team environment.
