About SkyBound
SkyBound delivers automated drone operations for critical national infrastructure, providing real-time aerial intelligence to support safety, security and faster decision-making.
We combine software, AI and remote operations, with systems managed from our Southampton-based 24/7 control centre and deployed across the UK in some of the most complex airspaces to enable rapid response and continuous site awareness.
As we continue to scale, we are looking for a driven Customer growth manager to join the team and help shape the future of autonomous operations.
The Role
We are seeking a commercial driven Customer Growth Manager to own revenue expansion across our major accounts.
You will hold direct responsibility for growing the value of SkyBound's largest client relationships by expanding deployments across new sites, regions and use cases, and converting operational trust into commercial growth.
Once our technology has been deployed, you will take ownership of the client relationship. You will act as their strategic partner, deeply understanding their operational goals and ensuring they are maximising the value of SkyBound’s service. You will be responsible for driving our upsell strategy including site expansions and our latest AI platform, managing contract renewals, and proactively identifying opportunities to expand our services into other areas of their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Ownership: Own an expansion revenue target across your account base that will include upsell, cross-sell and renewal value.
- Strategic Growth: Run Quarterly Business Reviews as commercial conversations and use ROI evidence to build the case for additional hardware, software features, service tiers and the AI platform, and convert that case into signed revenue.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage an active expansion pipeline across your accounts, forecasting upsell opportunities the same way the new business sales team forecasts new business.
- Account Ownership & Retention: Serve as the primary post-sale contact for our client base, taking ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction, account health, and contract renewals.
- Onboarding & Adoption: Lead post-deployment training and onboarding programmes to ensure end-users are fully equipped to utilise our technology and integrate our data into their daily workflows.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within SkyBound, gathering feedback on user experience and communicating feature requests directly to our product team.
- Intervention & Support: Proactively monitor account health metrics to identify clients who may be underutilising the platform and implement re-engagement strategies before renewal periods. Manage escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
