At Jet2.com we are proud to deliver a VIP Service to our customers. We have a fantastic opportunity as a Customer Helper - Front of House Duty Manager at London Stansted Airport on a 12 month Fixed Term basis.

As a Customer Helper – Front of House Duty Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient running of the Jet2.com customer-facing operation, leading by example throughout the customer journey. You will also work closely with service providers to ensure consistently high levels of customer service across all areas of the operation, while ensuring adherence to Jet2.com’s service specifications.

What will you do in the role?

  • Along with your Duty Manager colleagues, you will lead the Front of House operational teams on shift at the airport and play a pivotal role in achieving our “On Time Performance” targets.
  • Provide support and leadership to ensure colleagues and suppliers deliver and exceed Jet2.com standards for Safety and Customer Service.
  • Enable your teams to work together to deliver a first-class customer service at the airport.
  • Maintain a primary focus on safety, ensuring that activities are adequately resourced, and procedures and regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Work closely with the wider Jet2.com team and support or deputise for the Senior Duty Manager in key operational meetings.
  • Work closely with your management colleagues to deliver an efficient and friendly service that meets the needs of our customers and promotes our brand values.
  • You will be responsible for the development and management of a team of Front of House Supervisors teams, with indirect responsibility for the wider front of house colleague population.

This is a varied role with significant people and operational responsibility. As we are always on hand to help our customers, this position involves working on a rostered shift basis and requires flexibility to support our flight programme. Shifts will cover our 24/7 operation and will include working weekends and bank holidays.

What are the key skills/experience you'll already have?

The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours and will be an ambassador for the Jet2 brand and ethos. You will also have:

  • A proven track record of working in a fast paced, customer facing airport environment, with the ability to show flexibility and forward thinking in challenging operational situations.
  • People management experience and be committed to the development of others.
  • A passion for delivering the highest standards in customer service and safety.
  • Recent and relevant operational experience within an airport environment (essential for this role).
  • Experience of managing/building relationships with service providers and senior stakeholders.
