Omnis has been exclusively retained to appoint a Global Strategic Customer Insights Director for one of the world’s most recognised consumer brands.
Sitting within the Global Data Science CoE, this is a highly influential leadership role responsible for setting the global standard for strategic customer insight. You will lead a team of Analysts and Data Scientists and shape how insight is generated, communicated and used to improve customer experience, deepen engagement and build a richer understanding of customer behaviour.
The successful individual will bring together customer data, behavioural signals, market context and emerging AI capabilities to help the organisation understand not only what customers are doing, but why, and what they are likely to do next.
The role:
- Lead and develop a team of customer insight and analytics professionals.
- Establish the global vision, standards and methodologies for strategic customer insight.
- Lead high-impact projects focused on customer behaviour, experience, engagement and long-term value.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Partner with regional and global teams across data science, marketing, customer experience, digital and commercial functions.
- Identify emerging customer trends, behaviours and opportunities across markets, channels and customer segments.
- Explore how AI, contextual data and new behavioural signals can transform customer prediction, segmentation and personalisation.
- Champion the evolution from retrospective insight towards more predictive, proactive and AI-enabled customer intelligence.
- Build a consistent global approach while allowing for meaningful regional and cultural differences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
