Life on the team
Computacenter deliver a range of IT services to several customers in the London area. There is an opportunity for a Tech bar Technician role.
The successful candidate will work in a team of IT professionals delivering a “Techbar” service to users.
The role will be based onsite on our customer site, 37.5 hours per week covering a flexible shift between the hours of 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

What you’ll do
- Helping users with technical issues with their Devices.
- Helping users with technical and guidance questions.
- Checking and fixing desk set ups around the building.
- Monitoring and Maintaining Service Now incident queues
- Interacting with users to ensure loaned devices and leaver devices are returned
- Ensure customer satisfaction is given high level of focus
What you’ll need
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- The ability to learn new systems and follow processes
- Strong interpersonal, literacy, and numeracy skills
- The ability to work well during busy periods
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English Language at grade 4/C or above
- A positive attitude and desire to learn and achieve

Important Eligibility Information
Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider Realise which will include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold.
Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a Customer Service qualification L2 standard, GNVQ, BTEC or equivalent qualification to be eligible for this programme.
