Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) was created in December 2020 as Deloitte UK’s internal, enterprise-wide shared services organisation. The vision for EBS is to drive customer-centric and efficient delivery of business services to our firm, enabled by end-to-end ownership of key processes and the application of consistent technology.
Enterprise Business Solutions is a world class, central function that better supports the needs of our firm, people and clients by focusing on exceptional customer experience, service quality and efficiency. In doing so, it will also allow our other Enabling Functions (EF) to focus on providing excellent business advisory support across the firm.

Connect to your opportunity
The Customer Journey Insights Manager role exists to define, evidence and improve real employee journeys across Enabling Functions by uncovering the lived, current‑state experience—not the assumed or designed process.
The Manager will lead structured, evidence‑based journey reviews that surface what actually happens, what people truly need, and where friction, effort, or opportunity exists. They will translate these insights into compelling, quantified narratives for executive leadership to secure investment, prioritisation and action.
The role goes beyond operational process views to bring experiences to life, balancing customer sentiment, business value, operational feasibility and cost.
This is an Enabling Functions-wide role, across multiple internally facing service areas, and so is ideally suited to someone with a strong track record managing service improvement in Shared Services / Global Business Services (GBS) / Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
