Customer & Marketing Data Analyst

Birmingham

Hybrid Working

Permanent

Up to £50,000 + 20% bonus

The Opportunity

We're recruiting a Customer & Marketing Data Analyst to join an established organisation and turn large volumes of customer and marketing data into actionable commercial insight.

Working closely with Digital, Marketing, customer and commercial teams, you'll use SQL and BI tools to understand customer behaviour, evaluate marketing activity and identify opportunities to improve targeting, engagement and performance.

This isn't just a reporting role. You'll investigate what's happening within the data, understand why it's happening and what the business should do next, then communicate those findings clearly to stakeholders.

What You'll Be Analysing

Your work will help answer questions such as:

  • How are campaigns, promotions, offers and vouchers performing?
  • Which customer groups are responding, and how can targeting be improved?
  • How is loyalty activity influencing customer behaviour and commercial performance?
  • What trends within transactional and behavioural data should the business act on?
  • Where are the opportunities to improve engagement, retention and campaign effectiveness?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
