The Opportunity

Abbott Toxicology is the biggest provider for Drug & Alcohol testing in the country and also provides Occupational Health services through 23 medical centres across the country. We are looking for a Customer Onboarding Specialist to join the Toxicology Business Unit in Abingdon (Oxfordshire) that will support the existing and new accounts to ensure the best service experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up customer accounts, making account amendments
  • Logging and resolving customer invoicing complaints
  • Following good documentation practice, ensuring customer information is stored appropriately for future reference
  • Ensuring customer invoicing complaints are logged within the system and resolved within the deadlines
  • Investigating complaints fully to identify the root cause and appropriate resolution
  • Liaising with multiple departments to identify appropriate solution
  • Replying to customer queries mainly via email
  • Answering incoming customer calls

Required Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English and Math’s to grade (or equivalent)
  • Experience with working in an office-based, customer services or administration environment
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel
  • Experience using Sage and other complex systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Process driven while being customer focused
  • Capacity to work diligently when repeating tasks
