Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative and Customer Operations professional to serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned customers and distribution partners. In this role, you will own the end-to-end customer relationship across the Lead-to-Order process — managing demand signals, order execution, escalations, and account health — working in close partnership with field sales, FAEs, and distribution partners. A key focus of this role is driving customer intimacy — maintaining proactive engagement with customer procurement and planning contacts, understanding demand roadmaps, and anticipating customer needs ahead of formal requests.

Inside Sales Representative & Customer Operations is a commission-eligible role with accountability for assigned accounts across customer operations and inside sales functions, including opportunity management, revenue forecast, order management, and customer communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in partnership with the field sales team, with emphasis on customer procurement and planning personnel
  • Drive customer intimacy through proactive engagement with procurement and planning contacts — maintaining visibility of customer demand outlook, design roadmaps, and order coverage to anticipate needs and support commercial planning.
  • Provide proactive back-office support to the Sales and FAE teams for specific assigned accounts, including Design Registration review, Pricing/Quote requests, and process documentation
  • Work directly with end customers on orders, IP/Tools licensing, and design related inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Manage escalation and exception requests on customer orders and supply, serving as the customer-facing point of accountability — owning communication and follow-through with distributors and customers while coordinating resolution with internal operational teams.
  • Coordinate sample requests and new product introduction (NPI) support between field sales, Product Marketing, and Operations
  • Work with customers and distributors to collect, enter, and analyze demand signals to prepare consolidated sales forecast in support of the planning process.
  • Maintain accurate design registration for DDC and opportunity data in the CRM system.
  • Ensuring correct distributor margin is applied for each opportunity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Management, Business Operations, and Legal on contract/special agreement, agreements, pricing, and compliance activities
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and account summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Support QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) and territory/business reviews with data preparation and insights.
  • Assist in onboarding new sales team members by providing training on internal tools and processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
