Lyst Customer Ops Specialist
Lyst is a global fashion shopping platform founded in London in 2010 and catering to over 160M shoppers per year. We offer our customers the largest assortment of premium and luxury fashion products in one place, curating pieces from 27,000 of the world's leading brands and stores. In 2025, Lyst joined Zozo, operators of Zozotown, the leading fashion e-commerce platform in Japan. This partnership marks a bold new era for Lyst, as we accelerate our vision and work together to transform the future of fashion shopping through AI and technology.
At Lyst, we obsess over the customer, providing a search and discovery experience which offers inspiration, fulfilment, and personalisation. We believe that fashion is amazing but shopping for fashion often isn't, and we use our technology, data and creativity to bring more joy, greater choice and fewer fails. Our mission is to help fashion shoppers make better decisions and help fashion partners find better audiences as the category-leading destination for every fashion shopper.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of Customer Operations, with a key part in tech and data. The Customer Ops Specialist will own the systems, workflows, automation and reporting that enable us to scale customer care efficiently with the business needs. They will identify recurring customer and operational problems, use data to understand their root causes, and work with the right stakeholders to build scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
Customer support
- Confident with handling customer queries and requests when needed
- Implement AI workflows that autonomously handle high-volume, repetitive inbound (refunds, order status, returns, payment issues)
- Tune AI deflection thresholds, fallback routing, and handoff criteria to balance automation with quality
Backend automation
- Automate recurring manual tasks that currently live in task-audit backlogs (GDPR deletions, chargebacks, moderation flags, product data fixes)
- Build API connectors and audit workflows to catch and escalate edge cases without human review loops
- Document automation assumptions and thresholds; measure deflection lift and accuracy

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Reporting

- Maintain data quality and audit trails for compliance (GDPR, chargeback disputes, refund accuracy)
Sharing feedback and insights to stakeholders within forums
