About The Role

At ASM, we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Operations Specialist to join our growing team.

You’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by managing customer enquiries, processing orders and ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll take ownership of customer requests from receipt through to delivery, helping to ensure a smooth and seamless experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and making a real difference to the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, web chat and other communication channels.
  • Managing customer enquiries from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Processing customer orders accurately and in line with agreed service levels.
  • Investigating and resolving customer queries, complaints and delivery issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and orders progress smoothly.
  • Monitoring customer orders and proactively communicating updates where required.
  • Identifying trends, recurring issues and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Producing reports and maintaining accurate customer information across business systems.
  • Supporting the sales team by delivering a high standard of operational and customer support.
  • Working towards individual and team KPIs while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in a customer service, customer operations or sales support role.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to deliver the best possible customer experience.
