Customer Partnership Director

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Coleshill – B46 1TT - Hybrid

Tradeteam is DHL Supply Chain's specialist drinks logistics business, supporting some of the UK and Ireland's best-known drinks, brewery and hospitality organisations. Operating in a fast-moving and commercially competitive industry, we bring together logistics expertise, customer insight and operational capability to keep products moving while helping our customers respond to changing markets and unlock future growth.

As Customer Partnership Director, you will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic customer partnerships and shape what comes next. This is much bigger than managing a team or maintaining a successful relationship. You will influence commercial direction, connect customer ambition with DHL capability and represent Tradeteam across the wider industry. From strengthening performance today to identifying tomorrow's opportunities, you will create sustainable value for our customers, Tradeteam and DHL.

A Typical Day May Involve

  • Leading the strategic direction of several major customer partnerships, ensuring account plans translate shared ambitions into measurable commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Engaging senior customer stakeholders to understand their evolving priorities, challenge established thinking and shape solutions that support their longer-term growth.
  • Bringing together operational, commercial, finance and specialist teams to deliver one coordinated approach across complex supply chain environments.
  • Reviewing revenue, cost and profitability performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and taking decisive action to strengthen account value.
  • Looking beyond current contracts to identify new services, innovation opportunities and strategic partnerships that could unlock sustainable growth.
  • Leading senior governance conversations, using insight and performance data to maintain accountability, accelerate decisions and keep future priorities on track.
  • Acting as a visible voice for Tradeteam within the UK and Ireland drinks, brewery and hospitality sector through industry events, forums, trade bodies and stakeholder relationships.
  • Inspiring and developing a high-performing team while building the wider capability, culture and succession strength needed to support Tradeteam's future ambitions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
