Are you looking to develop from your career within Insurance?
We are looking to recruit a Customer Payments Clerk, to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the Customer Payments Manager in all aspects of premium collections, credit control, processing customer refunds and reporting.
This is a hybrid role - 1 day a week on site at our Southend office.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing collection files
- Managing customer refunds
- Handling broker commission
- Acting as the first point of contact for finance related queries
- Supporting credit control activities
- Assisting with month end and internal reporting
What We Need From You
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- A disciplined, organised, and methodical approach
- Ability to handle confidential financial data appropriately
- Previous experience within the insurance or financial services sector - beneficial
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent, including Maths and English
