The Role
The Customer Performance Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, delivery, and optimisation of Salesfire’s managed service offering. Working closely with clients, they will use Salesfire’s technology, customer data, and marketing capabilities to deliver activity designed to improve engagement, conversion, and customer value.
A significant part of the role will involve planning, building, and optimising customer communications, particularly email, alongside managing activity across the wider Salesfire product suite. The role combines hands-on campaign delivery with performance analysis, testing, and ongoing optimisation.
The Part You’ll Play
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of managed service activity across a portfolio of Salesfire clients.
- Plan and execute campaigns using Salesfire’s suite of tools, ensuring activity is delivered accurately, on time, and against agreed objectives.
- Work with client data and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for targeted and personalised activity.
- Manage customer communications across channels, with a particular focus on email campaigns, lifecycle communications, and customer segmentation.
- Build, test, and optimise email activity, including audience selection, content, targeting, timing, and performance.
- Use Salesfire tools and customer data to develop recommendations and activity that improve engagement, conversion, and customer value.
- Monitor campaign and account performance, identifying opportunities to test, improve, and scale activity.
- Produce clear performance reporting and communicate key findings and recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns, data, creative, and technical requirements are delivered effectively.

The Skills You’ll Need
- Previous experience delivering customer marketing or lifecycle communications, with strong practical experience of email.
- Good understanding of email campaign planning, segmentation, targeting, testing, and optimisation.
- Experience working with customer data to create targeted and personalised communications.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance and turn findings into action.
- Comfortable working hands-on with marketing technology and learning new platforms quickly.
- Commercial mindset, with an understanding that activity should ultimately drive measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing live customer campaigns.
- Confident communicating performance, recommendations, and activity to clients and internal stakeholders.
