Overview

Shape our Customer Conversations!

At Screwfix, we're always looking ahead. Whether it's launching new customer propositions, evolving our value story or bringing our sustainability ambitions to life, we need someone who can connect the dots, see the bigger picture and turn strategy into marketing that delivers real customer & commercial impact.

As our Customer Planning Manager, you'll sit at the heart of our Marketing Operations team, leading the planning and delivery of some of our most important customer initiatives. You'll own the marketing plans for propositions, from value campaigns, Sustainability to launching new services to partnering with Screwfix Rewards and retail media teams, ensuring every initiative is insight-led, customer and commercially focused.

This isn't about managing individual campaigns. It's about shaping the overall customer plan, influencing senior stakeholders, spotting opportunities before others do and making sure everything we deliver works together to create the best possible experience for our customers.

If you're someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, thinking strategically and bringing people together to make things happen, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

  • Brief and lead cross-functional teams — setting clear direction on the plan, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
  • Maximise retail media and partnership opportunities, working closely with Screwfix Media Partnerships to define opportunities & principles & ensure planning visibility.
  • Simplify and prioritise — making clear recommendations, driving decisions quickly, and ensuring focus remains on the highest-impact activity.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of annual & seasonal planning, managing timelines, stakeholders and dependencies to ensure plans are developed on time and to agreed quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
