Customer Program Manager
This role provides the opportunity to work directly with some of Europe's leading automotive customers, influence next-generation vehicle platforms and play a key role in NXP's automotive growth strategy while building long-term customer partnerships and future business opportunities.
As a Customer Program Manager within the Automotive Processing & Systems organisation, you will drive strategic customer engagements across leading European OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Automotive is a core growth business for NXP, enabling the transition to Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), zonal architectures, vehicle compute and next-generation automotive software platforms.
This is a customer-facing role requiring strong programme leadership, technical credibility and the ability to coordinate global cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer adoption of NXP solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead strategic customer programmes across major European automotive customers, acting as the primary programme management interface between the customer and NXP.
- Drive successful customer adoption and deployment of NXP SDV, vehicle compute, networking and processor solutions from concept through production.
- Develop trusted relationships with customer engineering, programme, purchasing and management stakeholders.
- Coordinate global cross-functional teams including engineering, applications, product management, quality, sales and business line organisations to deliver customer commitments.
- Lead programme reviews, risk management, issue resolution and escalation activities to maintain customer satisfaction and programme execution.
- Drive closure of technical, quality and commercial issues through structured action plans and executive follow-up.
- Support portfolio and roadmap discussions with customers, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and NXP strategy.
- Manage high-priority customer escalations and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Provide programme leadership for key design wins and strategic growth opportunities.
- Support regular customer visits, executive reviews and business planning activities.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Solid experience in automotive programme management, customer engineering, system engineering or product management.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and semiconductor products.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to both engineering and management audiences.
- Excellent customer-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities across global organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex programmes simultaneously.
- Experience driving issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational, planning and risk management skills.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally as required.
