The Role

Brackley, UK

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Race Team Support Technician to join our Car Build department, to attend races and tests as required, supporting the customer at the track or at our factory in Brackley.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team, where you can share our passion for competition while embracing our core values. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Race Team Support Technician you will:

  • Prepare new main cases for build and build gearbox sub-assemblies ensuring that all of the procedures and quality checks are followed.
  • Complete build and set-up of gearbox assemblies ensuring all the correct quality documentation is used.
  • Change ratios on gearbox assys.
  • Hydraulic system fitment & bleeding.
  • Measuring/shimming and fitment of clutch packs.
  • Attend race and test events as required to support the Race Team.
  • Constructive reporting of issues or failures.
  • Ensure quality of build by using all the sign off tools provided as per the gearbox build procedures.
  • Use SAP to create build sheets & ensure assembled components have enough mileage to complete event.
  • Ensure builds are to latest specification.
  • Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
  • Carry out similar skilled duties as and when required.

About You

The successful candidate will display the following attributes and experience:

  • Previous experience in an F1 environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of quality systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • SAP experience.
