Customer Service & Order Fulfilment Specialist – Renewable Energy
Bolton
£27,500 Basic
Plus bonus of between £2,500 - £4,000

We are recruiting for an established clean-energy company that supplies solar PV, battery storage and EV charging technology to customers across the UK and Europe. Backed by a successful international group with revenues exceeding £300 million, the business offers excellent stability, global reach and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Due to continued growth, there are opportunities within the company’s expanding Customer Operations team, covering two closely connected areas: order fulfilment and customer resolution.
The Role
Depending on your experience and strengths, your role will focus on either managing customer orders from placement through to delivery or taking ownership of more complex customer queries, returns and complaints.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing customer orders from initial placement through to successful delivery
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers by telephone and email
- Coordinating with warehouse, transport, finance and sales teams
- Investigating delivery issues, returns, product concerns and customer complaints
- Finding practical solutions, including replacements, collections and order amendments
- Keeping customers regularly updated and managing expectations
- Maintaining accurate notes across CRM and ERP systems
- Supporting credit checks, payments, account queries and order documentation
- Taking full ownership of queries through to a successful resolution
- Helping improve processes and the overall customer experience

About You
We would be interested in speaking with people from customer service, sales administration, order processing, logistics coordination, complaints handling or customer resolution backgrounds. You will ideally have:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience managing orders, queries or complaints through to completion
- The confidence to deal with complex or time-sensitive situations
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach
- Experience working across multiple departments
- Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems
- Experience using CRM, ERP or order-management software would be advantageous
