CRM & Customer Engagement Specialist - London (Hybrid)
Salary: up to £55k + bonus (depending on experience)
The Data Gals is partnering with a growing analytics and digital consultancy that works with ambitious, well known brands to help them use data, technology and customer insight to drive better marketing outcomes.
We're looking for a CRM & Customer Engagement Specialist to join their team and play a hands-on role in delivering customer communications across email, mobile and SMS.
This is a great opportunity for someone in CRM or email marketing who enjoys being close to the detail — building campaigns, working with customer data, testing journeys, troubleshooting templates and using performance data to continuously improve activity.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of clients and industries, developing both your technical CRM expertise and your understanding of customer lifecycle marketing.
What you'll be doing
- Build and launch multi channel customer campaigns across email, push and SMS
- Create and manage audience segments, targeting and personalised content
- Develop automated journeys and lifecycle programmes across different stages of the customer journey
- Work hands-on within Braze, including campaign creation, segmentation, personalisation and automation
- Build and troubleshoot email templates using HTML and CSS
- Conduct detailed campaign QA, checking personalisation, links, rendering, targeting and campaign logic
- Support the ongoing development of automated and always on customer journeys
- Work with customer data and audience lists to ensure campaigns are accurately targeted
- Monitor campaign results and produce performance reporting
- Identify trends, issues and opportunities from campaign data
- Support A/B and other forms of campaign testing and use findings to improve future activity
- Maintain campaign schedules and coordinate activity across multiple stakeholders
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time

What we're looking for

- 3 years' experience within CRM, email marketing or customer lifecycle marketing
- Strong, hands-on experience using Braze
- Experience building and deploying customer communications across email and ideally push/SMS
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the confidence to troubleshoot and amend email templates
- Experience working with audience segmentation, personalisation and automated journeys
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around campaign QA and accuracy
- Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance
- Experience using Excel for reporting and analysis
- A proactive approach to identifying improvements and opportunities
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and internal stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Previous agency or consultancy experience would be advantageous
