Role Description

The Customer Relationship Manager (B2B-Marketing) plays a key role in driving Addmaster’s commercial growth by developing and managing strategic marketing relationships with customers.

This is an externally focused role responsible for building long-term partnerships with key customers, identifying and delivering co-branding opportunities, and embedding Addmaster’s technologies into customer marketing strategies.

The role moves beyond execution into ownership, ensuring that Addmaster is actively positioned within customer marketing plans, strengthening brand visibility, and creating measurable commercial impact through collaborative activity.

A core focus of the role is to work closely with customers to understand their business, product pipelines, and marketing objectives, translating these into structured co-marketing plans, case studies, joint campaigns, and exhibition activity.

The role also retains responsibility for selected marketing execution activities, including exhibitions and supporting content, but with a stronger emphasis on strategic relationship development, opportunity creation, and commercial alignment.

Working closely with the Global Marketing Director, sales teams, and customers, this role will act as a key bridge between marketing and commercial functions, ensuring that customer engagement directly supports revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities

Customer Collaboration & Co-branding

  • Build and manage strong, long-term marketing relationships with key Addmaster customers.
  • Act as the primary marketing contact for assigned customers, developing a deep understanding of their business, products, and strategic priorities.
  • Proactively engage customers to identify opportunities to integrate Addmaster technologies into their marketing narratives.
  • Develop structured customer engagement plans to strengthen relationships and increase visibility of Addmaster within customer organisations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align customer engagement with commercial priorities and opportunities.

Co-branding Strategy & Delivery

  • Own and evolve Addmaster’s co-branding strategy with customers.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver co-branded marketing initiatives including: Case studies, Product launches, Joint PR and editorial opportunities, Digital campaigns, Customer success stories
  • Ensure consistent and correct use of Addmaster branding across all customer-facing materials.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of co-branding opportunities, tracking progress and commercial impact.
  • Continuously identify new ways to increase Addmaster’s visibility within customer products and communications.

Customer Marketing Integration

  • Work with customers to embed Addmaster technologies into their marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Support customers with marketing assets, messaging, and technical positioning in line with brand and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to influence customer messaging at the product development and launch stages.
  • Drive the creation of high-quality case studies and reference projects to support wider sales and marketing activity.

Exhibitions & Events (Strategic Ownership)

  • Own the strategy and delivery of Addmaster’s exhibition and event programme.
  • Align exhibition participation with both Addmaster priorities and customer activity.
  • Coordinate joint exhibition opportunities with customers where relevant.
  • Oversee all aspects of event delivery including planning, logistics, materials, and on-site execution.
  • Attend key industry events to represent Addmaster, strengthen relationships, and identify new opportunities.
  • Track and report on event performance, including leads, customer engagement, and ROI.

Marketing Execution & Support

  • Support the delivery of key marketing activities aligned with customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Global Marketing Director on campaign coordination and asset development.
  • Work with external agencies, designers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and positioning across all activities.
  • Provide input into content creation, particularly customer-led stories and campaigns.

Market & Customer Intelligence

  • Gather and share customer and market insights to inform marketing and commercial strategy.
  • Monitor customer activity, competitor positioning, and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for new sectors, applications, and partnerships.
  • Feed intelligence back into the wider business to support strategic decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain awareness of industry exhibitions, customer activity, and sector developments.
  • Support the development of structured customer marketing programmes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Addmaster’s partnership and co-branding strategy.

Scope

This is a commercially aligned marketing role with a strong focus on customer relationship development and strategic partnership management. The role has significant external engagement and direct influence on revenue-generating activities. The position does not initially include direct reports but may evolve to include team responsibility as the function grows.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in customer-facing marketing, account management, or partnership roles.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to link marketing activity to business outcomes.
  • Experience delivering co-marketing or partnership initiatives.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing exhibitions, events, or customer activations.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and external partners.
  • Competent IT skills; experience with CRM systems and marketing tools is beneficial.

Salary

The salary for this role will be up to £40,000 (candidate dependant).
