Customer Relationship Manager
Location: OSJCT Melksham Gardens, Melksham, Wiltshire
Contract: Fixed Term – 24 Months
Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum + generous commission scheme
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work some weekends
About the role
As our Customer Relationship Manager, you’ll play a key role in the exciting launch of our brand-new 80-bed care home, opening early 2027.
You’ll manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to move-in, building strong relationships with prospective residents and their families and providing a professional, compassionate and positive experience throughout. You’ll proactively manage enquiries, conduct tours of the home and work closely with the Home Manager and wider team to achieve occupancy targets.
You’ll also have the opportunity to build strong relationships within the local community, engaging with healthcare professionals, social workers, community groups and other key stakeholders to promote Melksham Gardens and establish its reputation locally.
Working closely with our Regional Marketing and Sales teams, you’ll use your understanding of customer needs, market activity and enquiry data to identify opportunities, improve conversion and support the successful growth of the home.
About Melksham Gardens
Melksham Gardens is a brand-new, purpose-built 80-bed care home in Melksham, due to open early 2027. The home will provide residential, dementia and nursing care, alongside intermediate, respite and day care services, supporting the growing needs of older people across Wiltshire.

Designed around residents’ comfort, wellbeing and independence, Melksham Gardens will offer luxury en-suite bedrooms, including suites for couples, as well as a range of exceptional facilities including private dining spaces, a cinema, gym, activities room, hair salon and wellness spa.
The home will also include a dedicated family suite, enabling loved ones to stay close when needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the beginning of the home’s journey and play a key role in launching Melksham Gardens, establishing its reputation within the local community and helping create a thriving resident community from the outset.
Your earning potential
In addition to your £30,000–£32,000 basic salary, you’ll receive commission for qualifying self-funded residents who move into your allocated home.
You can earn up to £300 per qualifying permanent resident. Commission is payable once the minimum threshold has been met.

About you
We’d love it if you had previous care home sales experience or an understanding of the care sector. However, if you have experience in sales, business development, customer service or relationship management, we’d like to hear from you!

You’ll have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a proactive approach and a determination to succeed. You’ll be confident working independently, managing a pipeline of enquiries and using CRM systems to track activity and performance.

You’ll be commercially aware and motivated by achieving occupancy targets, while always putting the customer experience at the heart of what you do.
