Customer Account Manager
Location: Coleshill | Office Based
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Monthly Bonus Potential
Are you a commercially minded people-person who loves building relationships, spotting opportunities and seeing your hard work reflected in your earnings?
We're looking for a Customer Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of business customers, developing strong relationships while identifying opportunities to retain, grow and win business.
This isn't just about maintaining accounts. We want someone with a sales mentality.
What you'll be doing
You'll have your own portfolio of customers to get to know, understand and develop. Your day will include a mixture of inbound and outbound conversations, giving you plenty of opportunity to build relationships and make a commercial impact.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing and developing your own portfolio of customer accounts
- Building strong, long-term relationships and really getting to know your customers' businesses
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services
- Protecting existing business through proactive customer retention
- Re-engaging lapsed and lost customers and bringing them back into the business
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Working alongside our Business Development Managers to bring new customers into the business and develop those relationships
- Handling a mixture of warm leads, inbound enquiries and proactive outbound activity
- Negotiating commercially and maximising opportunities within your portfolio
- Working towards clear sales, retention and portfolio growth targets

The role covers the sale and development of commercial products and services, with a strong emphasis on consultative selling and understanding both customers' current requirements and their future needs.
Who are we looking for?
We're open-minded about your background. You don't necessarily need to have been a Customer Account Manager before.
What we're really looking for is someone who is confident speaking to customers, commercially switched on and motivated by targets and results.

Rewarding your performance
Alongside your salary, you'll have the opportunity to earn a monthly performance bonus based on targets including the performance and retention of your portfolio.
Monthly bonus potential can reach up to £1,000 - £2,000, giving high performers the opportunity to significantly increase their overall earnings.

This is an office-based position in Coleshill, with the train station making the location easily accessible for those travelling by public transport.
