How you’ll power our business as a Customer Sales & Service Advisor

Are you passionate about delivering great customer service and identifying the right solutions for customers? We're looking for a Customer Sales & Service Advisor to join our team, helping customers through a consultative sales approach while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

In this role, you'll maximise sales opportunities through inbound customer interactions, using your communication and relationship-building skills to understand customer needs, recommend suitable products and services, and support new customer acquisition. You'll play a key role in driving sales performance, increasing customer satisfaction and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

What you’ll be doing

  • Handling inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, web chat and other communication channels.
  • Using a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and recommend relevant products and services.
  • Maximising sales opportunities through cross-selling, upselling and new customer acquisition activities.
  • Negotiating within agreed guidelines to improve conversion rates and profitability.
  • Supporting fuel and ancillary product sales campaigns and prospecting initiatives.
  • Achieving sales, service and performance targets while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.
  • Resolving customer complaints efficiently and within agreed service levels.
  • Accurately recording customer interactions, quotations, enquiries and sales activity on company systems.

What we’ll need from you

  • Proven experience in telephone sales, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and handle objections confidently.
  • Target-driven and results-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Previous B2C contact centre experience is desirable.
