Customer Sales Advisor
Salary: £27,700 per annum plus performance-related bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Following successful completion of your probationary period, your basic salary will also receive an inflationary adjustment.
We are recruiting a confident and customer-focused Customer Sales Advisor to join a growing and ambitious business.
This is a varied role combining consultative sales, excellent customer service, administration, and responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented site. You will support customers in person, over the phone, and by email, taking the time to understand their requirements and recommend the most appropriate solution.
This is not a high-pressure or aggressive sales environment. Success comes from building rapport, asking the right questions, and delivering a positive customer experience.
What you'll be doing
- Responding to customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and by email.
- Understanding customers' requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
- Converting enquiries into sales through a friendly, consultative approach.
- Promoting relevant additional products and services.
- Building positive relationships with new and existing customers.
- Processing payments, maintaining accurate account records, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Completing general administration, including emails, filing, stocktaking, audits, and data entry.
- Supporting local marketing initiatives and community outreach.
- Conducting regular checks to ensure the site remains clean, secure, and fully operational.
- Maintaining high presentation standards throughout the site and public areas.
- Following health and safety, fire, and security procedures.
- Acting responsibly as a key holder and helping maintain site security.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience within sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- A friendly, confident, and professional approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to put customers at ease.
- A natural ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Good organization and attention to detail.
- Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A reliable and punctual approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience within a similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
