About Us
Newly Weds® Foods is a leading, privately owned global food ingredients business and has been innovating since 1932. The European division is a market leader in the manufacture of coatings, seasonings and functional ingredient systems.
Today, Newly Weds® Foods is a world leader in food ingredient technology. A network of R&D, manufacturing and service facilities around the globe allows us to serve our customers’ needs in more than 68 countries. But despite our size and scope, we’ve continued to be an independent, family-owned business answerable only to the demands of our customers. That’s why we continue to invest in infrastructure, human resources and capacity to keep pace with our customers’ needs and expectations.
We’re looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our team and help ensure our customers receive an excellent and reliable service.
Working closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, Production and Warehousing teams, you’ll play an important role in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries and keeping customers informed. You’ll support customers across the UK and Europe, making sure orders and information are managed accurately and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer sales orders accurately, from receipt and validation through to order entry and confirmation.
- Raising sales orders and maintaining accurate customer and order information.
- Supporting the Customer Service team with day-to-day administration.
- Organising transport for urgent customer orders when required.
- Maintaining regular communication with customers and Sales teams regarding orders and deliveries.
- Working closely with Supply Chain to resolve operational or delivery issues.
- Logging, acknowledging and supporting the resolution of customer complaints in line with company procedures.
- Producing and completing reports, including information relating to OTIF, complaints and corrective actions.
- Providing accurate and timely information to Delivery, Warehousing and, where appropriate, Customs teams.
- Using internal IT systems to accurately record activities, identify discrepancies and produce reports.
- Responding to customer and account holder queries professionally and efficiently.
- Working with customers and Production teams to manage lead times, delivery requirements and stock availability.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the UK, Europe and US.
- Maintaining high standards of administration across telephone, email and written communication.
- Providing cover and support across the wider Supply Chain team when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
