About the job
Ready to put your customer service and administration skills to work in a busy, product-led business? Evans, a leading Manchester-based soft furnishings and window treatment specialist, is looking for a friendly, accurate and proactive Customer Service Administrator to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be a key link between our customers, Account Managers and internal teams, helping ensure enquiries, orders, samples and complaints are handled professionally, accurately and on time.
What you’ll be doing
- Processing customer orders accurately and resolving queries with customers and colleagues.
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email in a helpful, professional way.
- Keeping customer, order and product records accurate and up to date.
- Coordinating samples, returns, complaint updates, invoicing and wider sales administration.
- Supporting stock updates, transport bookings, CRM administration and reporting.

What we’re looking for
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly organised, detail-focused approach.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- A positive, solution-focused attitude when supporting customers.
- Good Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
- At least two years’ experience in customer service or administration.
It would be a bonus if you have
- Five GCSEs at grades A–C, including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications.
- SAP experience desirable but not essential.
- Experience in textiles, soft furnishings or another product-led business.

Salary and benefits
