About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator to join our expanding team at SBR. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring that each step is handled with precision and care. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate order processing, facilitating effective communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You will be an essential part of our operations team, contributing to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction of our organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in customer service, sales administration, order management, or a similar role. Experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential to ensure accurate processing and record-keeping. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective interaction with customers and internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word, is required. Candidates should be capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently and working well both independently and as part of a team. Desirable qualifications include experience in manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or supply chain environments, which will be advantageous in understanding the nuances of our industry and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders accurately within SAP, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
  • Monitor the progress of orders from initiation to delivery, coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely updates and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer information and order histories to facilitate smooth operations and reporting.
  • Support issue resolution by investigating and addressing customer concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining order processing and enhancing service quality.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to order status, delivery performance, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
