About The Role

This full-time, permanent Customer Service Administrator position is based in Swanmore, Hampshire, with a competitive salary offered depending on experience. Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, you will join a family-run window and door manufacturer established in 1989. The role supports customers, colleagues, and daily office operations, requiring a confident and organised approach. Key responsibilities include handling enquiries, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. The company is open to discussing a possible job share for suitable candidates. Note that public transport is limited, so reliable personal transport is necessary for commuting.

The Role

This is a varied and important office-based role within a small, supportive team. You will be a key point of contact for customers, helping to manage enquiries, support daily administration and ensure information is handled accurately and professionally. The role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, staying organised and being part of a business where no two days are quite the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Supporting the team with general administration and daily office tasks.
  • Updating records and systems accurately.
  • Helping customers with queries, updates and follow-up information.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to keep things running smoothly.
  • Following company procedures and supporting a safe, organised working environment.

What They Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with previous customer service, administration or office-based experience, along with a positive attitude and a practical approach to problem solving. Full training will be provided, however attention to detail, reliability and a willingness to learn are essential.

Skills And Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration or a similar office-based role.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Confident telephone manner with the ability to deal with enquiries calmly.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook and general IT or database systems.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and stay organised during busy periods.
  • Friendly, reliable and team-focused.
