Customer Services Administrator

Full-time role - 37.5 hours per week

Location - Abingdon office

Salary - £28,000

Here at BPP (part of Lyceum Education Group) An opportunity has arisen for a friendly, enthusiastic and organised individual to join the team as a Customer Services Administrator. You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the Abingdon office, delivering a high level of customer service and providing administrative support to staff, students and clients.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will support the administration team in delivering an excellent service to students, clients and colleagues, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Abingdon office.

As such, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring students receive an excellent service from BPP/ActEd
  • Performing a range of administrative tasks including processing applications, data entry, course set up and organisation
  • Finalising published materials and creating and updating apprentice records
  • Using surveys to collect information from apprentices
  • Creating and checking reports
  • Dealing promptly and efficiently with telephone and email enquiries from students, clients and staff
  • Liaising with internal departments to support administrative activities
  • Liaising with suppliers and other stakeholders in support of administrative tasks
  • Assisting other members of the administration team when required
  • Supporting ad hoc tasks and projects to help ensure the smooth running of the Abingdon office

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and successfully manage multiple tasks
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, internet and database systems
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change
