A client of ours, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is looking for a Temporary Customer Service Administrator to join their busy and welcoming team ASAP until December.
This is a full-time temporary position, Monday to Friday, working 8 hours per day between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with a pay rate of up to £12.71 per hour.
Please note, due to the location of the site, you must be a driver as it is not accessible by public transport.
Your key responsibilities as a Customer Service Administrator will include:
- Responding to incoming customer calls and email enquiries
- Accurately updating databases, records and Excel spreadsheets
- Preparing and drafting customer correspondence and letters
- Monitoring and following up on ticket responses
- Managing diaries and coordinating appointments
- Providing general administrative support across two departments
- Preparing and maintaining relevant documentation
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks

To be considered for this Customer Service Administrator position, you will need:
- Previous experience within customer service, administration or a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A professional, approachable and positive manner
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using IT systems
- A proactive approach with the ability to work well as part of a team
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the location
