A client of ours, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is looking for a Temporary Customer Service Administrator to join their busy and welcoming team ASAP until December.

This is a full-time temporary position, Monday to Friday, working 8 hours per day between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with a pay rate of up to £12.71 per hour.

Please note, due to the location of the site, you must be a driver as it is not accessible by public transport.

Your key responsibilities as a Customer Service Administrator will include:

  • Responding to incoming customer calls and email enquiries
  • Accurately updating databases, records and Excel spreadsheets
  • Preparing and drafting customer correspondence and letters
  • Monitoring and following up on ticket responses
  • Managing diaries and coordinating appointments
  • Providing general administrative support across two departments
  • Preparing and maintaining relevant documentation
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks

To be considered for this Customer Service Administrator position, you will need:

  • Previous experience within customer service, administration or a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional, approachable and positive manner
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using IT systems
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work well as part of a team
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the location
